So last week l posted about my thoughts on Cata. With the recent hacks we have suffered l wanted to start a post to hear what people think blizzard could do to stop account hacks.

My 2 Cents....

Hacking will continue to plague WoW and interrupt peoples play time until they find away to deal with the selling/disenchanting of people equipment. My thoughts on this are kind of simple. If a item is BoP and the trade time of the item has expired. The item can no longer be disenchanted. On the same note, BoP gear has a 0 gold value. So if ICC boss drops 2 purples and no one wants them you have 5 hours to disenchant the item before it is fully bound to you and no longer worth anything.

Now this won't totally stop account hacking cause people will still have gold on there account or materials or guild banks for people to try and steal from. But it would take the load off the GM's having to restore all these items to people they have lost. I would love the day blizzard finds away to remove gold from the game to totally stop the account hacks and the gold spam. But l don't think this will ever happen cause there is no fair way to make the transfer from gold to another option.

Long and the short l think its getting to the point that they have to do something more then charge us money or Authenticators or force people to buy expensive cell phones for a free app.
