(i) General Conduct

Treat all members as equals. Respect! All members are expected to demonstrate a reasonable level of maturity in all their interactions, both in and outside of the guild.

If a member makes a commitment to help a fellow member, honor that commitment. Real life happens all the time, so if you have to suddenly log off, we all understand. However, deciding to leave your guild mates for a better opportunity is not acceptable.

Support the diverse play-styles and game approaches of other members. Discussion about the relative merits of certain talents or specs is appropriate; however, making derogatory comments about another player, whether in guild chat or in private tells, is inappropriate.

When required, the guild’s officers may invoke disciplinary measures against other guild members. These measures may include being sanctioned; temporary suspension from the guild; or in severe cases, expulsion.

Decisions made by the officers have been made after a lot of deliberation. Once those decisions are announced, we ask that all members support the choices that were made.

(ii) Recruitment

1. New Member
•A new member must fill out the guild application on the website
•A majority vote by the officers of the guild, in the officers forums must be performed.
•In the case of having a dead heat in the officers vote the applicant will be given the benefit of the doubt but will be under close scrutiny during the rookie phase.
•New members are given the rank of Rookie.

2. ReAdmittance of Previous Member
•If a member leaves to join another guild or gquits for other reasons and decides to come back to us, we enforce a cooldown(CD) of 1 week after they /gquit. This CD serves as a discouragement to members that /gquit in anger and force them to think it through. We dont want to become a transit point for angry people.
•If the ex-member is returning after an extended time we will consider their application using the same process as the new application process.
•Upon successful re-admission the applicant will be granted membership priviledges and bypass the rookie rank.
•Any rank above member previously awarded will be revoked until re-earned or ratified by officers.

(iii) Promotions

Rookie --> Member
Rookies will be granted full members permissions and status once these criteria are met:

•Officers vote at the one month mark - majority rules
•Officers can within the first month decide on performing an adhoc vote to promote a rookie to member based on performance and fit to our guild - but this must be a unanimous vote of those present - no abstentions.
•After 1 month, if the rookie has not already been promoted and does not get a majority vote by the officers to join, the Veterans of the guild are consulted for their opinion, and if we still have no majority, the rookie will be asked to leave.

(iv) Looting: 25 Man Raiding in Icecrown

** Inquisition’s Suicide Kings Loot Rules **

Inquisition uses Suicide Kings (SK) as a loot distribution system for the guild’s 25man raiding in Icecrown. Suicide Kings was designed to be a system that distributes loot in a decently fair manner, and nothing else. SK works better in casual and friendly environments, where people show up to play first and foremost and loot is but a happy consequence. We believe that this is a common trait of Inquisition’s membership.

Inquisition chose SK to protect our friendly and casual environment in the raiding game. No loot system is perfect, but it is our belief that SK is fair and although it is not exploit-proof it does offer easy administration and fun. Also, SK is fully transparent. There is no hidden bidding or any sort of competition. You can know for 100% certain when you are next in line for a piece of loot and plan accordingly.

SK encourages cooperation among guild members...passing on stuff one guildie may need more than yourself, in order to hold out for something you need more. It also encourages open discussion about loot and about who needs what, and I believe this directly creates a more effective guild overall.

Finally, SK makes it possible for casual gamers to compete with hard core gamers for loot. People that play more will still get more loot, but with a traditional inflationary system (DKP), it might be literally impossible for someone who plays significantly less than average to get a piece of loot EVER, until everyone else has it.

The basics of the system are as follows:
1. Players are put in an ordered list or lists.
2. When a new player needs to be added to the list, we simply insert them at the bottom.
3. When loot is dropped, the person who wants it and is nearest the top of the list wins the loot and goes to the bottom of the list. This is referred to as suicide.
4. Players who are not currently in the raid are frozen. This means they do not move up or down in the list(s).
5. If no-one wants the item, it will be disenchanted.

FAQ:

What happens if everyone passes on a piece of loot?
- If no one in the raid chooses to bid on a piece of loot then it is disenchanted immediately.

Will my Alt be able to bid on loot?
- Your main and alts all share your loot position on the list. Anytime a piece of loot is won all toons associated to that player are suicided(moved to bottom of the list). Therefore your alt is welcome to bid on any loot.

Is any priority given to a player’s preferred spec?
- Yes. If your regular role in Inquisition is to tank and that is your preferred spec then you will be given priority on tank gear over someone who prefers to DPS.

Will we run any alternate lists for specific items?
- No. Anything the boss drops (gear, patterns or quest items) will require a suicide to take.

If the item is BoE and does not conform to my preferred spec, can I still bid on it?
- No. BoE items can only be bid on by people who would equip it on their preferred spec. After that it is claimed by the guild bank to be sold or assigned at the guild’s discretion.

How is the distribution of Primordial Saronite handled?
- Primordial Saronite is not bid on after a boss kill, instead it will be held by the loot master until the end of the night. At the end of the raid night any member who did not win a piece of loot will be allowed to suicide for ONE of the looted pieces of Primordial Saronite. Any Primordial Saronite not claimed will be then deposited into the Guild Bank and will be available for purchase.

(v) Looting: 10 Man Raiding

General
1) At the beginning of the raid assign a master looter who will be in charge of distributing loot.
2) Each member of the raid is given two “rolls” per raid cycle – one Need and one Greed.
3) Your roll is considered spent if you win the item you are rolling on.

BoP Loot
1) The master looter will link the item in raid chat and ask for Need rolls.
2) Any members of the raid who is eligible to use the item and has a Need roll available may now /roll.
3) If no Need rolls are received then the master looter will ask for Greed rolls.
4) Any member of the raid who is eligible to use the item and has a Greed roll available may now /roll.
5) If no rolls are received then the master looter decides whether to disenchant the item or allow rolls from raid members that have exhausted both their Need and Greed rolls.

BoE Loot
1) If no rolls are received then the master looter decides whether to loot the item for the guild bank or allow rolls from raid members that have exhausted their Need and Greed roll.
